We’re our own fiercest critics. Each and every one of us is guilty of expecting perfection of ourselves when nobody else does. For some, nothing they do is ever good enough and they even cannot process or receive compliments. In other cases, some find it hard to say a single positive word about themselves.
Perfect imperfection. This is the basis of self-worth and self-acceptance. It is understanding that there are some things that you are pretty good at and very many things that you are not. Guess what? It’s OK.
Focus on what you are good at, and give the spotlight to someone else who excels at what you don’t.
